·
We strive to be an average sized
Troop of approximately 40 boys. ·
Strive to be 100% boy lead with
older and higher ranked boys who have already served as Senior Patrol Leader
filling Troop guide, Instructor, and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster positions. ·
Meet the Quality Unit Requirements
every year. ·
Support our local council and our
council camps by participating in council lead events, work days at the camps
and encouragement of our youth to seek membership in the Order of the Arrow and
possible staff positions for Cub Scout and Boy Scout events within our local
council programs. ·
Support current and new
relationships with local Cub Scout packs, first to help with the success of
their programs, and second the advancement of Cub Scouts moving on into Boy
Scouts as a whole with the hope that they would choose us as their home Troop. ·
Encourage all of our youth to
participate and grow in religious programs of their faith. ·
Offer Junior Leader Training on an
annual basis. ·
Encourage all youth members to
achieve at least the rank of 1st class, and give encouragement and
guidance to all those that would like to strive for the rank of Eagle. ·
Support the Venturing program. ·
Offer a high adventure outing for
the youth 1st class and above at least every other year. ·
Stress the importance of active
parent participation, to become
active registered, Uniformed and trained participants in the continued
development of all the youth that has been entrusted into our care and nurturing
through and by the Boy Scouts of America. |
